Nursebuddy has added incidents to its suite of deep-dive metrics available to homecare managers and business owners.
Authorised users can now quickly see summaries of different types of incidents, monitor incident trends over time and pull off reports for easy auditing.
Incidents relating to both clients and carers can be viewed independently.
How do incident insights work?
Within the Metrics area, you can see charts showing all incidents that occurred in the last 1, 3, 6 or 12 months, visualised by day, week or month, depending on your choice.
Additional dimensions can then be applied, in order to view incidents broken down by:
-
Team - your pre-defined regional or service teams
-
Status - whether an incident is still open or has been closed
-
Type - pre-defined categories, which your homecare agency can customise
Below the chart, a data table shows a summary of each individual incident, including the name of the person involved, type of incident and a brief summary title outlining what happened. Individual entries can be clicked on, to view full details of the incident within the client or carer’s record.
For auditing purposes, the view you choose can be downloaded as a PDF or spreadsheet (.csv), as well as printed.
Back on the main metrics screen, you can see at a glance the number of incidents that occurred in your homecare company in the last month, along with the % change from last month.
