Nursebuddy wants to involve you, homecare managers, coordinators and care workers, in our product improvement process. You know best which kind of care software helps the most in the daily routines of adult social care. So that’s why we launched a feature request discussion board within our platform!
You can easily add in your requests and upvote suggestions from others, while seeing the progress of each proposal. Our development team reviews all feedback received, implements the most valuable requests and improves Nursebuddy continuously.
How to share your feature request with Nursebuddy
To share a feature request with us, simply log-in to Nursebuddy and click on 'Share your improvement ideas!' (at the bottom of the menu on the left of the screen). You'll be take directly to our product improvement platform.
From here, you can can create a new feature request:
-
Choose one of the categories for your idea
-
Write a short, descriptive title for your suggestion
-
Add a description, giving as much information and context as you can
-
Upload an image to describe your request (if you have one)
-
Click the 'Create post' button
Your feature request will now appear in the list.
The better you can describe the problem you want us to solve the easier it is for our developers to understand what kind of tool would solve the problem. Think about why you find yourself needing this feature. What would it help you to do or achieve? Would it save you time or help you bring in a new process?

Upvote other people's suggestions
Care managers and coordinators often have similar needs for our platform, so we have made it possible for you to vote for each others’ requests. When an idea has received several votes, it tells us that it is a really valuable feature and we should prioritise it.
To upvote other people's suggestions, click on the little box with an upward pointing arrow and a number. This will register that you would like this feature too. You can also add a comment and a photo if you have more detail that you could add to this feature idea.
View our roadmap
Within the same product improvement platform you can also see a live view of the feature requests we've worked on. It's a quick and easy way to find out what's coming next in Nursebuddy and whether your idea will soon arrive in our homecare platform!
What happens after a request or an upvote has been sent?
Part of making a good product is finding the essential features or improvements that bring the most value for our customers. Therefore, all of your requests are reviewed and prioritised.
The requests vary by the amount of work, necessity and demand. Some feature requests can conflict with each other, while others can be very specific to a particular organisation's needs, so we always evaluate whether the request is suitable for the Nursebuddy platform as a whole.
We go through the wishlist items with our customer success team, support team, product owner and development team to get insights about the requests and prioritise the ideas so that we’ll find the most critical improvements to make.
Then our wonderful developers start doing their magic! We are continuously growing our team to help build and develop our software to meet your needs. We could develop our platform until the end of time as there is always something new to add to the system. A homecare software that has stopped its development is already an old system.
We truly value all the ideas you share with us, and they help us in continuing to improve our homecare software. We love working closely with our customers as it helps to ensure that we offer a solution that is fit for its purpose of planning, delivering and reporting homecare. With us, you can help yourself to have the best possible homecare software for your company.
