Family Portal brings peace of mind to family members during COVID-19 pandemic

As coronavirus is running wild, self-isolation for the vulnerable is important, but so is peace of mind that your loved one is being cared for!

The Family Portal brings peace of mind to family members who can’t visit their relatives because of the current pandemic, but want to stay updated on how their parents, grandparents or other family members are taken care of during this challenging time.

Social care clients are the most vulnerable ones to coronavirus, and therefore the government state that over 70s should self-quarantine themselves. With the whole country in lockdown, there should now be no family visits.

Each visit is a potential risk and families are more likely to spread the coronavirus than a professional care worker that has specialised training and protective clothing. It is our responsibility to help the elderly in their isolation and protect them against outside diseases.

As relatives can’t go for a visit, it is now more important than ever to involve families to the care online!

The Family Portal brings peace of mind to family members who can’t visit their relatives.

The Nursebuddy Family Portal invites homecare clients’ families to join in the care. With the Family Portal, you can see who visited your loved one, when and which care services have been completed, and you can add notes for the carer worker to notify about important things to consider.

No matter the distance, whether down the street, the other side of the country, or the other side of the world, you can get real-time updates about your loved ones care. Updated information brings peace of mind.

It is also possible to invite for example a GP to the Family Portal.

The Family Portal is included in all of our plans and doesn’t cost any extra. Our customers can start using it immediately.
