Gain confidence working with people with dementia
Psychologist and dementia engagement specialist Florence Tyloo will explain some of the visual changes that can happen with dementia - and how that can make what seem like simple tasks difficult. She will demonstrate how changes to a person's visual field can affect how safe they feel and therefore how they behave.
In conversation with Madeleine Curran, she will share practical ways for care workers to adapt their care to provide reassurance and complete the task at hand - lowering stress levels for both the carer and the person being cared for.
This webinar will take place during Dementia Action Week, 18 - 24 May 2026
