Account Executive

Location: Dublin (Hybrid)
Salary: €32,000 - €68,000 OTE

We are looking for a seasoned SAAS seller to join our Sales team.

Salary: €32,000 - €68,000 OTE
Hours: Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm (UK time)

Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify, engage, and qualify potential customers through outbound channels to build a strong sales pipeline, and work inbound leads driven from marketing

  • Discovery & Consultative Selling: Conduct needs analyses to understand customer goals, challenges, and desired outcomes; tailor demos and proposals accordingly

  • Demo & Presentation Delivery: Deliver compelling product demos that align with customer use cases and business objectives

  • Pipeline Management: Maintain up-to-date, accurate records of deals and activities in HubSpot (our CRM), ensuring forecasting accuracy

  • Collaboration with Marketing & Customer Success: Partner with Marketing on campaign follow-up and with Customer Success to ensure a seamless handoff post-sale

  • Negotiation & Closing: Manage contract discussions and commercial terms confidently while maintaining strong customer relationships

  • Feedback Loop: Gather market and customer insights to inform Product and Marketing strategies

  • Continuous Learning: Stay informed about product updates, industry trends, and competitive landscape to position the solution effectively

  • Adoption Support: Work closely with Customer Success to ensure customers are set up for success post-sale, maximising retention and expansion opportunities

  • Process Improvement: Contribute ideas to refine sales playbooks, messaging and workflows that improve efficiency and conversion rates 

Requirement and skills

Our ideal candidate looks something like this:

  • Seasoned in sales - we value experience and are looking for someone who has 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, with a minimum of 2 years in SaaS 

  • Goal smasher - proven track record of achieving or exceeding quotas 

  • Relationship builder - can manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to negotiation to close

  • Data lover - has experience working with CRMs such as HubSpot or Salesforce; familiarity with tools like Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus!

  • Fluent in English - plus proficiency in Finnish is a serious advantage, but in no way required

  • Superb communicator - with strong presentation and storytelling skills that build trust and clarity

  • Deeply curious - always seeking to understand customer goals and pain points deeply

  • Resilient and proactive - able to handle objections, learn from feedback, and maintain momentum

  • Business-savvy - exhibits business acumen, understanding how to identify, qualify and prioritise opportunities

  • Collaborator - knows how to work effectively with Marketing, Customer Success and Product teams to deliver value

  • Happy in the fine print - good organisational skills and attention to detail in pipeline management and forecasting
