Due to popular demand, care managers using Nursebuddy can now create their own risk assessments templates to reflect their business’ approach to client risk and safety.
The new template builder enables care managers to create fully customisable forms, selecting from a suite of interactive building blocks. Fields available include:
Text boxes - for questions and narrative responses
Checkboxes - for multi-select answers
Radio buttons - for single-select answers, such as yes or no questions
Value fields - for numeric data entry
Date picker - for capturing key dates or time periods
Risk assessment templates provide the foundation for different risk assessment forms in Nursebuddy, which can all run off the same risk framework. For example, the same template can underlay forms assessing risks as varied as allergies and driving.
In addition to being able to build your own templates, Nursebuddy has three in-built risk assessment templates that can be used right away as part of managing a client’s care:
HSE Risk Assessment - which uses the Health and Safety Executive’s basic risk assessment format
Action-Benefits-Losses - a format for weighing up the pros and cons of taking or not taking certain actions
Risk to Others - format for capturing risks posed by a client to those around them
Special thanks go to Best Care Liverpool and Destiny Healthcare for helping us to develop this new risk assessment feature.
