Congratulations Beyond Homecare for winning the Chamber Business Innovation Award in Scotland!
The Business Innovation Award is given to a business that can successfully demonstrate innovations by doing something new to their business process or new to their industry.
“Over the past two years Beyond Homecare has undergone a complete transformation, utilising cutting edge innovations in technology and a more modern approach to working practices and homecare culture. The company has doubled in size over the last 12 months and currently provides in the region of 8,000 care visits per month to customers across East Lothian. ” Mentioned Midlothian & East Lothian Chamber of Commerce
Beyond Homecare‘s CEO Gavin Stedman-Bryce said: “The homecare sector is not known for its innovation but at Beyond Homecare we recognise the crucial role technology can play in improving practice and service delivery.”
Stedman-Bryce continues, “we were the first care company in Scotland to adopt NurseBuddy because we saw its potential. The ability to track care visits in real time and to give our clients and their loved ones access, has been a game changer for us. Our ability to embrace innovations like NurseBuddy, among other key systems we’ve deployed, is the reason the Midlothian and East Lothian Chamber of Commerce voted us Business Innovator of the year.”
Beyond Homecare’s history started in 2002 as the Pamoja Group. The Pamoja Group acquired an existing care business in June 2016, and started a transformation process which culminated to the relaunch as Beyond Homecare. With a new brand and culture, Gavin and Louis’ first aim was to completely rebuild the company’s systems and processes; with a key focus on quality. Beyond Homecare provide high-quality, personalised care at home services across Scotland.
Once more congratulations!
